Twee jaar geleden werd het 3D-printbedrijf GS Technology nog bekroond tot ‘Beloftevolle kmo van het jaar 2021’ en die naam doet het eer aan. De eenmanszaak groeide uit tot een bedrijf met vier voltijdse werknemers, twee jobstudenten, een extra service en het team kijkt hoopvol naar het nieuwe jaar. “3D-printen zit in de lift.”

GS Technology is nu officieel authorized value added reseller voor Markforged. Precies een dag voor de start van Advanced Engineering kreeg Gianni Scoponi, CEO & Founder, het officiële bericht uit de VS. Het Vlaamse 3D printbedrijf was al langere tijd verdeler voor de 3D printers van Markforged.

GS Technology from Essen is Promising SME of the Year
"In the Hof van Beatrijs ballroom in Lier, the title of SME of the Year 2021 was awarded by Unizo Provincie Antwerpen. The Promising SME of the Year from our province was also honoured. After a thorough analysis and screening of all submitted files, the jury chose three finalists in each category. In the end, GS Technology from Essen can call itself the Promising SME of the Year 2021. The title SME of the Year 2021 goes to PFL from Beerse."

GS Technology opens doors: "3D printing is much more than gadgets".
"Since November, twenty 3D printers have been running at full speed in a warehouse in the Postbaan in Essen. Born and bred Essen resident Gianni Scoponi (24) founded GS Technology three years ago and is now the only one in the Antwerp region who specialises in industrial printing in 3D. His machines have even produced the nose of a cockpit. All the gadgets can be discovered on Sunday 3 October during the Open Companies Day."
From bottle caps to controllers: Gianni (24) prints his own dream in 3D
"Gianni Scoponi is 24 and always wanted to start his own business from the beginning of his studies. Three years ago he started in his own living room with three small 3D printers, but soon he felt the itch to do it bigger. With GS Technology, his own 3D printing company, Gianni's dream came true a few months ago. "What we do here is not only the future, it's also the present," he says.
